At Renaissance Recordings, LLC, our mission is to help individual artists pursue their dreams of sharing their God-given gifts with the world. We provide a platform that supports, promotes, and celebrates artistic talent in music, art, videos, poetry, photography, modeling, comedy, and more. Join us in our journey to entertain, enlighten, encourage, and comfort citizens globally.

We are receptive to helping the individual artist expose their talent(s) through their artistic abilities whether it be through the expression of music, art, video’s, poetry, photo’s, modeling, comedy, or any other type of artistic talent they desire to have exposed to the public in a manner and method that would be considered non-offensive.

Our History

We are an Independent Label with the vision of helping Independent Artist reach their artistic goals and dreams by supporting, working with, and providing them a platform on which they can expose their artistic talent.

  • 2004 - The Journey Started

    Renaissance Recording, LLC began as the vision of Lionel B. to record an album in 2004. He shared his dream and vision of singing and making music with Michael, and together they decided to form a partnership to create an album. This led to the founding of Renaissance Recordings, LLC. They envisioned a label that would support artists with creative freedom while staying true to the label’s broader vision. Renaissance Recordings partnered with SoundMarc Recordings in Orangeburg, SC, to record and produce their first album, *The Light*. Lionel B. recruited talented artists and musicians to join the label and perform shows at venues in Charleston, SC, and surrounding areas. The foundational artists of Renaissance included: - Tarrod T. (Keyboardist) - Gee R. (Vocalist/Percussionist) - D. Huger (Percussionist) - Zandrina D. (Vocalist) - Taya C. (Vocalist) - Tia (Vocalist) - E. Thomas (Bass Player) Later additions included: - Javar W. (Vocalist) - J. Scurlock (Vocalist) Along with numerous other talented musicians and vocalists who performed in venues throughout Charleston, SC, and beyond.

  • 2007 - Change of Direction

    In 2007, Renaissance Recordings shifted its direction. The label began working with various studios and producers to help artists record their original songs. While continuing to perform at local venues with a mix of cover and original material, the label successfully completed five albums. In 2010, Renaissance Recordings went inactive, but it re-emerged in 2017 with a new structure and focus. The label expanded into video and photography, and now actively markets and promotes music on online radios and streaming platforms. The new vision for Renaissance Recordings continues to evolve, staying true to its roots while embracing the future of music promotion.
